Terms of service
By using idphotoly.com you agree to these terms. Please read them together with our privacy policy and refund policy.
The service
IDPhotoly is software that prepares photos for official documents such as passports, visas and ID cards, following the published requirements of each document. We are not affiliated with any government or issuing authority. Whether a photo is accepted is decided solely by the authority.
Your responsibilities
- You must choose the correct document and check the official requirements linked on our pages.
- You must upload a genuine, recent photo of yourself, or of a person you are authorised to act for, such as your child.
- You are responsible for the final application and for submitting the photo in the way the authority requires.
Licence to use the files
After payment, you receive the delivered files for use in your own personal official applications. You may not resell or redistribute them as a service.
Prices and payment
Prices are shown before you pay and include applicable VAT. Payments are one-time and are handled by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record, which processes your payment and taxes.
Refunds
If an official authority rejects a photo made with our service, you are entitled to a full refund when you request it by email within 30 days of purchase. The full conditions are in our refund policy.
Availability and changes
We work to keep the service available and the requirements up to date, but we do not promise uninterrupted operation. We may change, improve or discontinue features and prices. Changes do not affect orders already paid.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for delays, travel or application costs, or decisions made by authorities. Our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer protection law.
Prohibited use
- Creating fake or fraudulent documents, or altering a photo to mislead an authority.
- Uploading photos of other people without their consent or authority to act for them.
- Attempting to disrupt, copy or reverse-engineer the service.
Governing law
These terms are governed by applicable law, without affecting the mandatory consumer protection rights you have in your country of residence. We prefer to resolve any problem directly, so please contact us first.
